Join the Hispanics in Wine team at the Napa THRIVES Social Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Event on June 21st!
Despite the popular focus on environmental stewardship and economic viability, social equity has always been necessary to achieve sustainable outcomes. In this session, we will affirm the importance of social equity and define real sustainability as about caring for the health and resilience of nature and environment, the health and resilience of employees and community, all of which contributes to the success and longevity of businesses.
In the wine industry, social equity focuses on issues like farmworker training, living wages, affordable housing, and opportunities for advancement. But we also have to acknowledge that industry leadership has been overwhelmingly white- and male-dominated. Join us to explore the myriad of opportunities to elevate diversity and inclusion, creating openings and opportunities for people of color (POC).

Wine & Culture Fest
The Wine & Culture Fest is a three-day curated experience highlighting and amplifying those that have been historically excluded - Black and brown people in wine. Organized with a two-pronged approach, the annual event is both a showcase and celebration of Black brands, winemakers, industry professionals, and consumers from novice to expert.
